Fresh on the heels of former President Barack Obama’s endorsement of Moore’s run, current Vice President Kamala Harris will be back in Baltimore this weekend at a grassroots event to support his candidacy.

The event is scheduled to run from 9:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Cahill Recreation Center on Clifton Avenue.

Officials say the event is being put on by the Maryland Democrats.

“There’s so much at stake in the upcoming election, and it’s imperative that we elect Maryland Democrats up and down the ballot in less than two weeks,” organizers of the event stated. "Join us to hear directly from special guests, and learn more about how you can get involved with the organizing efforts TODAY.”

Moore is challenging Republican Dan Cox to replace outgoing Gov. Larry Hogan. Tickets for the Baltimore Grassroots Event can be found here.
